Routes
These are my basic routes to work and back.
This is a little longer, and has become my standard route. I like the additional miles, and it’s far more hilly. Yes, that’s a Good Thing™ to me. The only downside to this is that occasionally, I will see the ex on the road, as she works in an office just off this route. It’s a small price to pay for the additional miles, though, so I suck it up.
This route is an extended version of the above. I’m looking for two things… 1. a way home via 91st that doesn’t take me by the the ex’s place o’ bidnis (that’s brain rot there), and 2. more miles. The 2nd of those two conditions is arguably more important…
This is my backup route. It’s shorter, with fewer hills. I started commuting via this route, but got bored with it rather quickly.
As the final week of training dawns, I’ll be expanding my route to maximize the burn. I’ll be taking my normal longer route into work, and this one home…
