2 Months, 27 Days

I just got a call from the Human Resources Department at one of the places I interviewed. It was a local area code, so the local HR department, rather than the parent company’s department called.

I got the job.

I got.

The job.

My first day will be the 30th. That gives me a full week off to actually *enjoy* unemployment!

When I was laid off from eScout back when the dot com bubble burst, I was out of work for 69 weeks and 6 days, for a total of 489 days. 12 Weeks, 5 Days for a total of 89 days is much better.
