The section of 83rd from Kill Creek Road east to Cedar Creek Road is closed to non-motorized vehicles. The story, as I heard it, was that a cyclist flipped off a motorist on 83rd, the motorist turned out to be the wife of the Mayor, and she got her revenge by getting bikes banned from that road.
