Babylon 5

I just got done watching 5 hours of Babylon 5. That is, in my humble opinion, the greatest show of ANY genre EVER to be shown on . I cannot think of a single other show that inspires such an attachment in me as Bab5.

My Gaming Alter Ego

My Quake alter ego is ‘Masamune‘. Actually, I use it for more than just Quake, but whatever. I used to be [CURSE]dvicci, but [CURSE] as a clan has moved on to Halflife CS (which I don’t play much), so I’ve picked another name for myself, and remain, alas, Ronin. I originally had the Japanese Swordsmith (halfway down the page) in mind, but as it turns out, it’s also the name of one of my very favorite Manga/Anime artists, Masamune Shirow of Appleseed fame! There are certainly other, more popular appearances of the name (I hear about it practically everytime I’m gaming online), but those two are definitely the continued inspiration.

I used to have quite a few of Shirow’s comics, but somewhere along the way, I let someone borrow them, and haven’t seen them since. :(

Oh, if you’re interested, I can be found mostly on the RA monster.com, Smackdown, KYA, or our very own Reckoning server entitled "There will be a Reckoning".

Roleplaying on the PC

I’m not anymore, but there was a time where I was a devoted and regular tabletop roleplayer. D&D (back when it was owned by TSR) and Vampire were where my dice most oft met the table, and I still have quite a soft spot for them both. Vampire was somewhat assuaged by Vampire: The Masquerade, and D&D by Baldur’s Gate and it’s ilk. However, I’m thinking that Neverwinter Nights (and to a lesser degree Dungeon Siege) may just be the final nail in the coffin of real-life in-person table-top for me. Maybe not… but maybe so…
